lysol & love.

That's our theme for today. Poor, Dallas. He awoke this morning to a 103 degree fever. He was miserable. Reese and I got dressed and headed out on "mission: get daddy better." We went to Target (where I swear, it's like I have a minimum spending limit) to get some Lysol and other Daddy must haves. Then to Chick-fil-A for lunch and blockbuster. By the way, if I could arrange it, I would pay Blockbuster to have "open gym." It is a kids paradise. Aisles to run through, lots of unbreakable, lightweight cases on the shelves that have cool pictures on the front of them. Reese lights up when we get in there. We did good, got four movies, waited in line, old people in front of us and old people behind. Just as I get up to the register Reese bolts, laughing hysterically. I leave the line to chase her and quickly snatch her up (with my purse and 4 movies in hand I might add) and gasp! the old people didn't let me back in my spot. I was gone like 4 seconds! I had to wait behind 3 more people. omg. Seriously, I have determined too, there are two types of seniors: grandparents who LOVE a 19 month old with pigtails or old people who think they should be running the government and want a Fleming's dinner for an outback price. That's it. Luckily, by the end of everyday we meet our fair share of both. Our neighborhood has the sweet kind. Reese is making friends quickly and I'm sure soon she'll be asked to sit on the HOA board.
Where was I? We get home, lysol everything, make chicken noodle soup, wet rag on daddy's burning up head, clean everything, Reese nap, go for a wagon ride, then go in the jogger and go running, came back, Reese played outside, dinner, bath and bed. whew. fun. Reese is so much fun. I love this weather allowing us to play outside all day. I shot some cute pics of the chick too.
I love this shot of her...

While preparing for our wagon ride, Reese made sure the babies were coming with (they had to be buckled in too) See, she's showing you...
Along the ride (it was really warm today) she told me they were thirsty. I watched her looking out of the corner of my eye as she gave each baby her water while saying "Mmmmmmmmm" the whole time.

She gets very excited about all the birds here. She yelled "bird" and we had to stop and admire him once he landed safely on the power line...

Another headshot of my baby girl

Another. Oh, she melts me...

Without seeming repetitious, here's some more silly faces for your enjoyment...

Hope that made you smile (I know a certain Gigi, Papa, Boo, D and Donna did)!!
As if this blog isn't long enough, one more thing, Reese usually goes to bed at 8. At 7:45 tonight she went to the stroller, got out her blankie (not that she's a blankie kinda girl, ever) tucked it under her arm and said "Night, Night" to Dallas and I and pointed UP to her bed. So sweet. She knows she's our world.
On another note, please pray for Dallas. He still has a 102 degree fever. I am with him every second with cold rags, tylenol, gatorade and lots of love. I am so worried. We need him better soon! If you made it through this blog, you really love us.  Thanks.  That's why I do this.
