Girl's Day

Reese and I headed out to the park this morning to meet up with Summer and Hudson, Heidi and Cash and Megan. I haven't seen all of them since September so we all wanted to get together and play at the park. Let me tell ya, it was HOT! Summer is 9 months preggo and I think she was handling the heat better than me. Couple that with the fact that Reese would rather be climbing up everything in the park than just walking around and I was a wreck, fast. It was fun, though. We left there and headed to California Pizza Kitchen where Lauren met us and had lunch. It took forever, but we had a blast and the three kids were great. I can't wait to do it again! Next time, Summer will have two with her! More fun! Not so fabulous pics since I was chasing the princess but here's a few...
Summer was smart enough to bring bread to feed the birds. The kids loved it until the birds tried to practically eat Reese and Hudson. Some seriously aggressive birds!

My little girl. Can you tell she was sweating something serious?

Reese did a lot of this...

Some of this too..(she was smart enough to keep her water close)

Summer's getting practice with a girl...Haven will be here next week!

All the girls...

Forgot to get a group shot. Maybe next time. Thanks for such a fun time girls!!

  3. What a great day for you and Reese. The aggressive birds made me laugh out loud. We took Hayden to Nashville when he was really little (to see baseball, imagine that)when we went to feed the ducks by the hotel they scared him to death with how aggressive they were. Hope this morning has Dallas feeling much better. Hayden said a special prayer on the way to school for Dallas to get well real fast and to have a great spring training.
