whew...

I am sitting at my desk, 3 photo shoots behind me, 1200 pictures to edit, a diet pepsi, a naked kid in diapers running around telling me and dallas and boo to HIDE (she watches where you hide) and I am ready. Ready to get after all my shots. Have I mentioned how much I love my job? I've been really blessed with my career paths. Medical Sales, Cheerleader, Personal Trainer to the Stars (aka all my homegirls in Arizona) and now Photographer. It's weird but they all make me better as a photographer. I love interacting with clients. I love that I get to carryout my visions. Talking to them for months on the computer, pulling into their driveway not sure what they look like or what kinda cool images we're gonna get that day. It's really a rush. And the kids? Oh....I love working with them. With that said, none of it would be possible with out my crew. My Daddy came down and spent the night last night. He kept Reese all day all by himself so Dallas could workout and I could travel to North Georgia for two shoots. We all went to church today and Boo got here tonight. My mom, dad, sis and hubby are awesome! Only trouble is when we get to Spring Training I am in trouble. She's gonna look around, realize I ALL there is, and scream! Good thing all of them are coming down for vacation! A quick shot of my girl and her wonderful papa!
Keep checking out my business site. There will be lots this week! I love comments on there too. Don't be scared to give me a shout out!

  3. I'm blog stalking again! :) I love looking at pics of your little girl, since mine is the same age. Don't know if you want to answer this question or not (feel free to e-mail if you don't want to post here), but what type of camera/lens do you use? I have no desire to go into the photography business (I've already spent waaay too much time training to be a pianist, hah!), but I'm looking to upgrade my canon rebel to get better pics of my kids. I would love to know what you use, but would totally understand if you didn't want to share.

  4. Hi Kathy!! I am more than happy to share! I shoot canon (i love canon!!) and have a 40D that I've used until Christmas when I got my 5d Mark II. I have lots of lenses but my primary one is my 50mm 1.4, I just added the 1.2 last week and used it for the first time and love the L series glass. How much do you want to spend? I can guide ya. The rebel is a great entry level Dslr that you can use these lenses on. Check bhphoto.com for the best prices. Hope this helps!! I am working on the photo q&a post. Look for it towards the end of the week!!
