Choosing my business name is hard. I can't do it without your help. So listen up people, your vote counts! Really, it does. I am getting so geared up for this. Okay, I 'll back off. But I do value your opinions. A lot of you have emailed me your thoughts on this subject. They re across the board and I see all sides.

jennmcpherson photography is more formal. It's sounds professional too. But then I see where it's not real creative.
hipchick photography. It was my initial front runner. However, will people think I only take pictures of girls? very stupid people, maybe, but they could. Or is it too unprofessional?
pure baby. No one seems to like this. I liked it. I worry that I may lose families or seniors (FYI: not senior citizens, but high school seniors...just to clarify).
With that said, take your time, let it all process, now consider this: I want to specialize in children. Newborns, toddlers and some senior portraits. NO WEDDINGS! I will not deal with brides. I was one. I know....

Now that I know how to do this blogging thing, I think I will blog you to death. I have lots of stuff to say and for some reason it comes to me at night. I'm thrilled that you are starting the photography business. Please let me work for you! I wish Lynn would do it as well. You are both so gifted and passionate about it. In terms of the name of the business....I know very little about marketing, but...I think a cool name is the best. My fave is Hip Chick but I could also go with Pure Baby. I think when you use your sirname it is somewhat boring. As far as whether or not people will think it is just for girls....nah...it's chic, trendy and memorable. Don't you love people who have an opinion about everything?
