If there is one thing I believe in, whether we are living life on the road or at home, you must keep a girl busy. Honestly, it's so good for them. Can I give some advice? (I never give advice as a mom b/c usually when I hear it from other mom's I have a look on my face like, "DUH!" Thanks for the groundbreaking tidbit) However, I can see such a difference in kids that are in school, activities, etc since they are young. It's good for us mama's too. How could we sit here all day at her age? She doesn't watch much tv since we are on the road and I am so glad. She started school at church for a few hours a day 3 days a week at 15 months and that was the best thing we ever did. It's so good for them. She started at pump it up type places at 18 months and it's great for coordination, etc. Anytime they can interact with other kids and take guidance from an adult that isn't mama or grandma (not that we aren't fabulous to hang with) it's so good. Worth every penny. Hence, our "living on the road" out here. We're trying to do something fun for Reese everyday. Today was gymnastics class #2 for Reese and she loved it! LOVED it! It's so darn cute...

Heading to class...

Sitting down for roll call...

stretching...

A light warm-up...

Looking angry while doing the butterfly stretch...

Cracking up at her teacher...

"superman"...

Talking over their stations...

Balance beam...

This was her first time ever and she was really good...(except on the 4th cycle she tried running-she learned quick that was not a skill she has...)

Forward roll...

Weeee....

log rolls...

Tucks on the bar...

Flips on the bar...

They jump in the bounce house for a few minutes...

And then she slide into the foam pit! So fun!! We left right after and headed to Chick-fil-A to meet 5 of the other wives for lunch and some playtime. It was great! Another good day in Cali!
Check out the chick's gymnastics outfit. Love it! It takes me back to a time when Chel was little and doing this. She loved it too. It's so fun to watch them learn and grow through interactions with other people. I love her laughing shots. Like me - she gives everything she's got in that laugh!
ReplyDeleteLove those chunky legs!!!
ReplyDeleteShe is way more social than other kids her age (a testament to her mama)!!!
Miss you girls;-0
