This morning when I was getting Reese ready for school, I said, "You get to have fun at school today! yay!!" Her response? "No, Beach, Mommy." The girl is missing the beach.
Yesterday she colored an ice cream at school and I asked her about it. They glued cotton balls as the "ice cream" part and then colored the cones. She pointed to the cotton balls and with a very serious face said..."Don't.eat.that.mama." (Do you think they were told that over and over again??)

Very serious while building castles...
She would go to the ocean, get water (or make one of her devotees go for her) and pour it over the sand. At any given time she had sand in her eyes, ears, mouth...it took every once of patience in me not to rinse her off every 4 seconds.
