During our visit, Reese went to the field with her #1 guy to play ball. They went into the cages and he made her a little bat and attempted to "perfect" her swing. She's a lefty at the plate. Dallas saw that and then wanted to offer up switch hitting to her. It was so much fun to sit back and watch him teach her (I use the word teach lightly). She did really good. Every once in a while she would hit it like a pool stick but other than that she had her game face on.

I woke up sick one day (really sick) and he had to take her to "work" with him. She played on the field, met all the guys, took bp, everything. He even took her to potty and she told him "OUT, Dadda." A girl needs her privacy. He said he would peep through to make sure she was ok and if she saw him, "OUT!!"
They came home with medicine, my favorite magazines and Reese picked out a few goodies for herself.
I just adore these two babes in my life.
ok Sweetest thing ever. Dallas is such a great Daddy.
ReplyDeletePRICLESS... baseball daddies make the best daddies ; )
ReplyDeleteWe loved getting to see you and Reese. I think Titan has a little Reese crush. Whenever we talk about Reese he smiles his shy smile. We crack up, so now we talk about Reese a lot to see his reaction.
ReplyDeleteVery cute pics! They are so sweet... I bet she misses him already!
ReplyDeleteToo sweet! Memories they will cherish forever!
ReplyDeleteI knew that Dallas had been playing ball with her. Right after she came over tonight she found one of Chase's bats and went and found a ball and had me pitch to her. I asked her if her Daddy had taught her to hit homeruns and she said YES! You will also have to tell Dallas that when I started putting on her bathing suit and swimmies she kept saying Dad-di, Dad-di over and over. She loves her Daddy!
ReplyDeleteSo funny..."out daddy"... i can totally see it, an independent woman already!!! And I love the determination on Dallas's face-he's into it, such a dedicated daddy!!!
