All good things come to an end...

As did my wonderful weekend with my sweetheart. St. Louis was wonderful. I really enjoyed my time and our alone time together. A few of the other wives and family members came, so I got to meet some new faces. There are lots of kids on this team. Reese will enjoy next week.
We had a great time. First off, I have to give props to Cardinals fans. They are great. Everyone is decked out in their red and white gear (even our age crowd) and they sell out. My favorite is when Dallas and I are out after the games and the waiter says "How bout that game." Dallas just loves to play along. But the entire city is dedicated to their team. Amazing. I would love for Dallas to play there one day. I should call my people...
Saturday we went to the Arch and of course, I left my camera. I think I wasn't in my photographer mindset since I left my camera with my mom for the weekend. I just had my cybershot, which doesn't exactly get my camera blood a flowing...ya know what I mean? So, I got this later....
Please don't hate. I almost didn't post these crummy pics but this is my family blog and darnit, it was a family moment.
The best part for me since I hate to leave a downtown area, was the Hilton was right next to the field. I literally left for the game 2 seconds before it started (I never really aim to get there on time).

Here's Dallas approaching the plate...
His mug on the big screen...
And our inevitable post game self portrait.

This is photography by Dallas. He has the longest arms, therefore, he takes the pictures. We took some goofy ones, but this one is the most acceptable for this blog. We had fun Saturday with Baker. I'm so glad Dallas and John are back on the same team. He is a great guy and he knows he can always count on Jenn to find the UFC hotspot. And yes, once again, I delivered. Dallas, Baker and I had a blast watching UFC at a great little restaurant. It was so much fun! I get to see Dallas in 3 days. So exciting!

  1. I can't get over how big, in a good, athletic way, Dallas is. I never got to see him in season mode. Glad you had a great time in St. Louis. Congrats to Dallas for being back on the team! PS. Jenny F. is teaching for us one day a week.

  2. The amount of frequent flyer miles you have logged this season must be huge! Sounds like an amazing trip. I have been there and you are right...the fans love their baseball. Such a great atmosphere!
