evening rituals

Lesson #1 as a mama (well, after learning how to change a diaper, breastfeed, fix a bottle, burp, get them to sleep, shall I go on?) is just when you think you've got a really, really, good routine down, it changes. In the blink of an eye. In one day a new routine begins and it's as if this is how it's been since the beginning. Following me? Maybe not, because I'm posting at 10 p.m. Which by the way, I've been getting some sleep lately. I know, what in the world is going on, right? Jenn, getting adequate hours of sleep each night. It's eery. Truly. Sorry, I fell off course. Back on track... our routine has changed. In the past, we'd swing whenever we got the chance. Perhaps during the day or at the park. Well, now it is a must do every evening. No objections. After dinner (and usually after her bath) she heads to the windows and points to the outside. We now spell O-U-T-S-I-D-E or S-W-I-N-G because she knows the words. She pulls on the door knobs and bangs on the glass. She's very demanding these days. So, as if we are her royal servants, Meme and Mommy escort her heiness to her throne, uh hum, the swing. She loves it. She hums, laughs, points to Rookie and relaxes. She really needs this down time after her long, busy day.
Here's our girl swinging as free as a bird...

Waving to her fans, aka Meme...

sneezing...

pulling on my ears...my cuspids are coming in (More teeth!! Hard to believe there is room, right?)

looking like my Daddy...

just chillin...

And smiling at my mama every chance I get...

Reesie cup, I love you to the moon and back.
