Summing up our week

I'm sure I'll leave something out but I'll try! Last week we got back from Reno and enjoyed our last few games with our friends (that I miss so much!!) and Daddy's games. We had a birthday party for Reese at the park, then started our All Star Break with Daddy. We were supposed to go to Lake Tahoe but between Dallas needing to rest his back, unpacking, packing, cleaning,m it just began to look less and less appealing. We stayed home and soaked up SO much Daddy/family time. We went shopping, the park, dinner, played baseball in the backyard, took Reese to the jumping place one last time (she had a blast) and then got on our plane back to Georgia. Since we got home literally this is the first time I have sat down. We are trying to get back on schedule but I am way off.
Boo and baby Penn got here Thursday (whoo hoo!!) and we all hung out, then, Friday all of us girls (mom, me, reese, boo) and penn went shopping ALL DAY. We met Daddy for dinner at Longhorn's and had a wonderful but exhausting day. Daddy came down Saturday to spend time with us and I went to Veronica's shower (and was so sad to miss Lux's party but we were there in spirit!!) and Dad & mom played with Reese all day. When I got home, we celebrated Daddy's birthday with dinner and ice cream cake (yum) then Papa spent the night. Literally, my dad & Reese haven't left the playroom in 2 days. They had a BLAST together...it melts my heart. Can I just say that as much as I miss Arizona (our extended family) I love that we chose to move back to where our family is 5 minutes away. No plane flights, long trips, we are all together all the time. It's the best choice we ever made. Today, after Daddy left, Donna and Chase came over to play and Reese was in heaven....AGAIN. LOVE them so much!!
Here's what I came home to Saturday (my Dad's little princess)....

She would lay in the floor, pretend to sleep and tell him that only her "prince" can come wake her. Seriously. She then had to explain that her Daddy is her prince but Papa could be for now. She's princess obsessed.
One night Lisa, Shannon and I all met at the park to have a small California birthday party for Reese. (She literally thinks birthdays are a month long process since that is the time length between this one and her next one...) They were all so sweet. She LOVED it! They all sang to her, brought her sweet presents and we all enjoyed some ice cream cake that literally melted in a half hour in ther heat...

It's tacky but her ghetto mama added the "R"...

The whole gang...

So, when I went to the store to grab candles, Reese told me, "mama, I have to have a balloon at my birthday party..." Okay. So, I let her pick one and she literally picks the $10 lifesize (tacky) DORA balloon. Got it, done. When we got to the park, I tied it to the bar-b-q grill but Reese wanted to play with it. Her and Avery were playing so good with it (as you can see below) they called it their "friend" and walked around holding hands with it. They were not being sweet to Gavin so I made Reese give it to him for a few minutes. Next thing you know, poor Gavin trips and off goes lifesize DORA flying through the air (with Shannon running in slow motion yelling "Noooooooooo....." trying to grab it) Literally, Reese turns and looks at me like someone had died, dramatically dropped her head to the ground and BALLED crying!! It was hilarious beyond words...good little memory (for us, not Reese)...
Here they are happy with Reese...

Beginning the non sharing...

Minutes before DORA took flight...

And here's our attempt at a group shot with our Rivercats fan club, I had to post them all, they cracked me up. This was literally all of mine,Lisa & Shannon's evenings, one happy, one not, one sitting as told, one not, etc. I really feel so blessed to have these little ones in our lives this season...

And a quick pic of Peyton, the only non drama queen of our evenings...

I didn't take many pics our last few days but I did get her last gymnastics class! She loved it there and can't wait to start here! This is her favorite leotard and she begged me to wear it every week, I finally gave in for her last hoorah! She loved Miss. Amanda and they were sad to say goodbye, this was an awesome gymnastics center, we'll miss it!

Chatting in line...

We miss Daddy terribly but it is SO NICE to be in my bed, my house. I have really become a homebody the past few years and enjoy my routine. My bed feels so good and I've already had yummy Firehouse and Mexican! (my favorites!!) I'll hopefully be a decent blogger but I'm back to work now so you'll finally see work on my business site this week!
