just a few.

I miss this blog. I'm desperately trying to take the 5 minutes a day it takes to blog about her. She's my world. She's so funny too. Here's a few snapshots before church last Sunday.
Oh my how I love her.

She is growing up so much everyday. Dallas and I are consumed with her every move. I love that she is the center of our world.
We're having fun with the Baker's. Meghan's been a little under the weather, so I haven't paparazzied her yet. I'll save it up and bombard her on the day they leave!

jumping place.

I've been so bad about blogging! Sorry! I knew work would take over in the fall, plus we have been non stop! On Thursday, we met Jill & Jackson and Rebecca & Phoenix at the jumping place for some fun. Reese is a frequent visitor (3x a week) so she knows the ropes! I wish I had more pics (or even half way decent ones), I didn't even get a close up of Jackson or Phoenix! Next time. It's hard to be a photographer and a mama sweating, while going through the adrenaline rush and down a huge slide! It was a blast though, for all of us! Thanks girls!
Here's Jill taking Jackson and Reese down. Reese climbs up and slides down like a mad woman, no fear.
Here she is at the bottom looking up at me after her 100th slide...
And just a random Reese pic, since I take so few these days!

We're making this our Thursday tradition, maybe next time I'll get more! We had a great weekend with everyone. Reese was at the farm yesterday ll day with Gigi, Isabella & Suzanne. She LOVED it! She's especially a fan of the pig races.
Last night, Boo & D were here to spend the night and watch the Georgia game since we all bailed because of the rain. I say "we all" not my Daddy! He's a true fan and went in the rain!
Reese had a blast with her Boo & D, entertaining them all night. Also, the Braddy's were here which is always a treat! We had a house full!
Today, we had a great Sunday school and day at church!
The Baker's are coming in tonight to spend the week with us while they are playing the Braves..yay! We are so excited!

school is cool.

Reese LOVES school. I kept meaning to take my camera with me (it only took me 6 weeks to remember) so today I finally did. I just love that this is her second year in school. Social interaction, learning rules, playing on the playground...it's so good for her! If you ask her about her day she'll tell you about Mrs. Resa (Teresa) and Mrs. Janet. She talks about her friends in class too. It's hilarious. She brings home her artwork everyday and that is Dallas' favorite thing to look at when he gets home. I just love this little stinker so much!
She goes 5 days a week! Here's her backpack. Check out that super good job her mama did on her hair. I swear it didn't look like that when we left the house...
Happy about school!

Have a great day!

Catch up

Mom and I had the two year old's in nursery this morning at church. O.M.G. Really. Let's just say there is a reason I was a broadcasting major in college and not an education major. It's weird too b/c I feel like I am good with kids (hence the whole child photographer gig I've got going). But 8 of them when 1 of the 8 is mine? (Here lies the problem...)
Dallas and I went to leave Reese in nursery with her Gigi (it was Gigi's week...jackpot!!) and we quickly realized (as the class grow-ith within seconds) that Gigi was running this ship solo. Yikes!
Dallas peaced out in the middle of "I need to go potty!!," "Me too!," "I need to go too!!" Uhm, we're gonna need to find your parents...
It took a team of Donna, Gigi and me to get EVERY kid in the class through the potty stop at once. I stood at one station (aka stall), Donna manned another and Gigi did hand washing/monitor any escapees.
Halfway through class (picture Gigi reading a book, one kid insisting on sitting practically ON Gigi blocking the other kids view (which, in return makes the others a little pissy), a little boy throwing/rocketing toys across the room/one kid taking their shoes off to put on another kid's shoes) Are you with us?
Then, one girl has to potty. (It was Reese, thank you oh child of mine) Guess what happens next? Yep, the whole gang needs to go...again!! It was on our second trip down the hallway with 8 kids that we realized there was a bathroom IN the classroom. Nice.
Then, Reese decides she wants "Donna." We snuck up into the balcony to summon/sucker in Aunt Donna. She took the bait (the bait is really, really cute...)
So, then it was 8 kiddos and 3 adults. Whew. It was hilarious.
What else? We've just been busy. Not that we weren't always this crazy but between my Fall schedule and trying to get in good family time, etc. blogging falls by the wayside. I think I get camera burnout (did I say that out loud??) too so I end not to pick it up when I have lots of shoots.
We spent most of our week (as if this is different than any other week) with Gigi since she had the week off and Reese was out of school this week. We've been working on her big girl room. Mom and I spent all day Saturday together and Dallas and Reese had a daddy/daughter day. Today, we cooked out with my mom and dad so Reese was loving that! Papa came down to spend time with Reese and hang stuff for me (thank you Daddy!!)
Saturday morning, those little feet came in to wake Dallas and I up. We followed her into her room where she cranked up her cd player to dance with us. (Dallas dances with babies in hand) and then she just walked out. Hhhmmm.. She walks back in with a rug from my photography closet and says "Let's go dancing on this guys, outside with my car." (She says full sentences now and uses the "ing" words too...it's hilarious...)
So, like all groupies do, we followed.

If you're wondering, PINK is playing on the radio. She was jammin out.

Sunday=Gameday at the McPherson house...

So, pretty much from here on out our Sunday afternoon/evenings are packed full of one thing...football. Dallas was like a kid, he was so excited!! My mom made sure Reese was his sidekick and in on the action. Here's Reese on the sidelines taking a break from "cheering."

This panthers cheerleading outfit is just too darn cute on her!! We'll work on a more realistic two piece next season. Mom found my old pom poms too! Reese was a natural! Hilarious. We're going to need to work on how she holds them at appearances...

Her Daddy played with her all day. He tried to "teach" her how to cheer. I was in my office listening to him explain a double pirouette. (which he actually did quite well, I think he's seen too many!!)

Reese's attempt...(yes, that's a fireplace near her...)

Then, he moved on to high v's and leg kicks. I actually heard a Rah, Rah, Ree cheer. Seriously? I mean we are outdated but not that much...Doesn't Reese look like she thinks he is the best cheerleader ever???

As all athletes do, they eventually got hungry after their game, so they ordered some pizza...

Then, relaxed in front of the tube...

Yum!! (Same rules still apply:No eating in uniform) Although, I'm pretty sure eating naked is not permitted or encouraged...

Go Panthers!

Loving this time of year...

We spent Saturday in Athens at the UGA/Carolina game. Fun! It was a nailbiter and we got in so late last night but totally worth it! Reese spent the whole day/night with her #1 Gigi. They went to the (as Reese calls it) "jumping place!!" Reese is a regular, at least twice a week her Gigi or her Daddy take her to the jumpy place (I am stuck working!) and she loves it!
Mommy & Daddy...

Daddy & his girls! We love you Daddy! Thank you for EVERYTHING you do for us!!

Happy Sister! Love ya!!

Boo& D...

We all just ate and tailgated during the day and then headed into Samford Stadium that night. Love night games! What would a tailgaet be without some family corn hole toss?

Dad, David & Dallas kept themselves entertained...

Grillmaster Dallas...

Dallas relaxing in Daddy's chair...

The regulars...(excluding Dallas) They never miss (my Daddy was there at 8am for a 7pm night game!!)...

As if the Dawgs winning wasn't enough...Boo had an announcement!!

Megan & Lee were so excited for Jess & David! They were the last of their "crew" from college to find out! Everyone else missed the game so Boo had to tell them over the phone!

So cute!!

We all found out at the beach a couple of weeks ago via the CUTEST delivery gal on the block!!

Boo & D told her they had a surprise for her (Dallas and I figured they got her a DORA shirt) and she came running out in this shirt!! We were all yelling & happy, she seriously thought she was a star!! She continued to wear it down to the beach...she is excited!
Congrats Boo & D! We love you!

sweetheart.

I have to give a shout out to my main squeeze. I also need a Gigi photo here. I've been working ALOT lately and this is only a taste of what's to come until November. My mom has Reese almost every night, Dallas takes her to the park, watches her during my shoots, all so I can do what I love. Reese had a Gigi sleepover last Thursday (their usual date night), again Sunday, they jumped at Woody's jumping place all day Monday and Gigi has her again tonight. Whew!
Tomorrow is goodies for grandparents day at school so mom goes with her!
So cute! I can't wait to see what Reese made for her!

Goin fishing...

When we got to the beach Dallas bought himself a new fishing rod. Guess who else needed one? His sidekick. He found her (as if you can't see this coming) a DORA rod with an estrela on it (star for those of you non Dora-ized). She never put it down. She can actually cast it out and reel it in! She yells, "I fishing, purple fishes!!" (The fish is attached and you guessed it, purple.) This is her new favorite thing to do! Here's some random shots I took before dinner of her fishing off the balcony...
Happy Fisherwoman...
Papa tries to help the most stubborn fisherwoman in the world...
happy gal!
Talking while she reels it in...
This is work...
Hard work...
Purple fish...

This is her walking around town...all upset about something...life is hard for a 2 year old with nothing more to do that go to the beach...
Have a great day!

CUPCAKE.

If you go to Charleston, you must hit up Cupcakes. It's the bomb. And seriously, it kicks the snot out of those stinky Sprinkles ones every celeb loves (we are serious cupcake critics in this fam). My Dad, Reese, Boo & I all headed straight there once we arrived downtown Saturday night. Yum. Reese loved hers. Really she just loved the icing...she left the rest for us to finish.
She dove right in...

Tried to share with mommy (but I had my own to finish in record timing...)

Showing her cuppy cake off...

Listening to Boo & Papa...

YUM!!!

Almost completed the icing licking...

And done...

Mine was finished off too!

Anyone craving something sweet now???
