it feels good...

to be home. Two cars packed with 10% of mama & daddy's belongings and 90% Reese, all arrived in Georgia last night. Reese was an angel on the drive. We watched Marley & me (which totally reminded me of the tornado that was Rookie our first year of marriage) so Reese said "Mar-yee" the last two hours of our trip 100 times. We've spent today with family, Papa, Gigi & Boo. Reese is like a superstar with her fan club at her house. They all fall to her demands at the drop of a hat. Me, I'm working. I have orders & three shoots to edit...look for them soon!
On the baseball update...he cleared waivers...shocking, right? Thank you for your timing, Marlins. We've got offers and are really taking our time to weigh them, pray and see what is the best fit. Until then, we are loving our family time together. Sleeping in my own bed was better than anything, well, not better than a big league contract right now, but it was great. I'll keep ya posted. I want to thank each of you. When I got my office set up and checked emails and the 24 comments....I was in tears. It's nice to be loved. It's nice to feel supported and to know that others have been through the same experiences. Thank goodness I blog. Thank goodness for all of you!
Another moment of tears came Friday night. I stopped by the field to see Meghan, Summer, Hudson & Haven. Waiting outside the gates was WEIRD. I do not recommend it. Especially at the field that you went to so many times just days before. On a good note, the ticket guy was all pissy about the Marlins decision. Bless him, he made me laugh. I will miss the friendships I made. I know they are lifelong, though.
What else? We crammed this guy into Dallas' truck on the ride home. It took an hour to get him out, then he took cover in Reese's playhouse.
We are all playing with Reese. She makes us all go through the tube. Dallas can't fit through so he has to stand and wiggle through it. It's good for him, it humbles him so.

Tomorrow, I'll blog our Easter Bunny photos. Friday we had breakfast with the fabulous Baker's at Juno Beach Cafe, then headed to the mall to shop & see Mr. Easter Bunny himself.
And this is just to make you laugh (my mother will DIE) and I am positive that this confirms I am from Georgia but it only seemed appropriate...
It's time like these you're glad you know Photoshop...
to clear this up, this is for front office, not the actual players!
