pumpkin carving with gigi

I've been working so much that I miss out on SO many things in the fall but the other night (while I was editing the night away) I heard Gigi and Reese having fun in the kitchen and this is what I found...melts my heart. They were carving Reese's pumpkin with her princess pumpkin carving kit (thanks to our awesome neighbors that BOOed us this week!!) These two are inseparable and have so many great memories together. Love my girls...

Fall Festival at school

This week, Reese had her fall festival at school and she was beyond excited to dress up with all her friends! They have had the cutest dress up days and her stinky mama has missed the pic opp and has nothing to show for it so I was sure to get some on Tuesday. We snapped a few in the garage before Dallas and I took her to school. After hours at the Disney store, she decided on Cinderella Bride (couldn't just be regular everyday Cinderella...) and she lights up with all the hair, glitter and princess adornment...
posing...
Typical Reese. I really look forward to working around her "posing" for her fall pics this year...
At school they played games to win candy. Each class gets their own 30 minutes of play...
Fishing...

She loves Brookly too...
Lining up to leave and Reese had to compare candy totals with Elizabeth...
Sitting in her classroom before they were dismissed...

She had a blast!! Lots more pics from this week. As usual, we had a fun, family packed weekend and I actually took some pics! yay!! I'll blog them this week!! Hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween week!

I'm beginning to wonder if I'll ever be back to devoted blogging again. Guess we'll see. We have been super busy but I have had no desire to have my camera out since I am working so much this fall. Sounds so bad. Reese is going to wonder if we left the house when she was three. We have! Reese is as busy as ever! She is with Gigi at the farm, playing with friends, school. We have been running the roads! I am in the busiest season of shooting, so I miss out on a lot. We did have Lee, Ashley & Lux come visit this past weekend so we grilled out, played at the house, then headed over to Southern Belle Farms (I swear it's the best in Georgia) for the girls to have some fall fun!
Luckily, it's our friends farm and literally a mile away, so Reese has successfully been there every weekend. Last weekend she went with Gigi, Penn and Gigi's friend and her granddaughter. This time she had Lux:
Here they are eating at the house before we left...

Ashley and Lux were in front of us on the cow train...
The Mitchell family...

The girls (with the nest seats) watching the pig races (Reese LOVES them!!)...
Making the ducks swim in the water...
Looking at the pigs...
This they never wanted to leave (and we all nearly peed our pants watching our children fly across the air)...
Feeding the goats...
Daddy's helping them with the tricycles in the grass...
Reese on the cow train in front of me...
A few weekends ago, Daddy came down to go with us to another farm that has lots of fun kids stuff and so we could get some good pumpkins...
Loving on Papa...
They had a bouncing thing too that Dallas had to do with her...

Here's a few of baby Penn. He is literally here every weekend while D & Boo & my Dad are at Georgia games (Dallas and I are not that devoted) and we love him so much!!

Out at the farm...

Hopefully, I'll take some more pics soon! Reese loves school everyday and has amazed us with what she knows. I've got to video her. She can say the pledge of allegiance, the Christian pledge, the pledge to the bible, spell lots of words, cut with her scissors so good...the girl loves it!! Lots going on here! Hope everyone is having a great fall!!

It's a...

BOY!!

I know everyone already saw on facebook since I am a blog slacker, but I wanted to share! We are excited! We went Saturday for the 3D ultrasound and mom, dad, reese, dallas and I all piled in. We told the sonographer that Reese really wanted a girl so she chose to "type" the gender since she didn't want to be blamed. As soon as we all saw it we screamed!! This sent Reese into tears. "I wanted a durl." Dallas said, "but now you are my only princess." Her response was she really wanted another princess. Girls...can't make em happy.
When we walked out she looked at Gigi and Papa and said, " I wish that yady would have said it's a durl." She is slowly recovering and admitting that she's getting a little brother.
She's hilarious.
I am just letting it settle in. It's awesome to get one of each but mentally all I know is girl's. So funny to think of another guy in this estrogen driven house of ours. We are so excited!! Dallas is beyond words happy. He really was excited about a girl since he adores Reesie but once they said "boy" he has been on cloud nine! We had a girls name all set, no arguments, all ready. Boys names are all over the place. Glad God gives us plenty of time to decide!
Other than that, I am literally editing, shooting or sleeping or out having family time! We are out everyday loving the weather, playing on the playground, etc. I've been so excited to decorate for Fall too!! I love this time of year!
