Thankful for Family...

What a wonderful past few days. Whew.
Yesterday we got up early and Mom, Boo & I went to meet the rest of the girls in the family at the FOX downtown to see the Rockettes. I LOVE the Rockettes! Sure, it was cooler when I saw them in NYC but honestly, once you sit down you feel like your right in the city! It was unreal.
Here's mom & boo right before we went in...

Thanks Daddy for your camera!! We would have missed out on lots! Then we headed to Lenox for some shopping before meeting up with the guys. We all were craving Mexican...yum!

After dinner, we headed to another family tradition! We've done this every year and this year was tehbest b/c Reese actually knew what was happening! Lake Lanier has great lights you can drive through. Reese was looking the entire drive for Dora in a Castle...never saw her! We had to pretend! She got to ride up front with me as we drove through! After, we all went to Santa's workshop for hot chocolate, games & lots of christmas goodies! Her daddy took her to ride the train...

But he couldn't fit, so in jumped mommy! We had fun!! Can you tell???

Daddy's girl...

Handsome daddy!

Mommy & Daddy!! Love him so much!

Boo & D...

Gigi braved the carousel with her...

Inside, we looked at all the ornaments (and bought some cute ones!!) Reese didn't want me to take her picture...

We got home late last night! Got up this morning for more family Thanksgiving food! We also added more ornaments to Reese's tree. This is in her room. Reese and I went to pick it out, then her and Daddy decorated it! Gigi and Boo bought her the "OMG" ornament and the "R" ball. We added the DIVA one this weekend. I love it!

Got this popsicle one too...

Thanks Boo & Gigi!

We took down her star and mom made her a bow tree topper. I love this ribbon mom & boo got her. Thanks!

Our Rockettes ornament! Reese LOVES this...she kicks like them after seeing them in the Thanksgiving Day parade!

Today, we played and ate and played some more. Reese loves to play with her papa (and nap with him).

Her Dady won her this hammer last night so she spent the day pounding everyone...

She had to help everyone with lunch...

Helped her Uncle D with the very important job of buttering the rolls...

She played Chase with everyone too and did her dancing spins...

And loved to stir the pot with Boo...

What a wonderful weekend with family! I loved every second of it. Can't wait for more!!

elf on a shelf.-chick version...

Okay, so last year we adopted our very first Elf. We were very excited to welcome him into our family during the crazy holiday season. Last year it was all on Dallas and I to name him, take care of him, discipline him...the list goes on and on.
This year? Uhm, Reese has it covered. First of all, this year He's a She. Yep! Turns out a trip to a boutique and one customized Elf skirt later, you can gender swap your elf!
Reese had no trouble naming her either. Very creative. Guess what? "RUBY." Yes, Boo's baby's name is Max and our She elf is Ruby. So creative...
Ruby's been very busy too. Just making herself right at home. Look where I found her this morning...How cute is that skirt she's rockin???
And after dinner? The girls got skillz...

Who knows where she'll be tomorrow! Happy Thanksgiving!

mornings...

Our princess (as she refers to herself these days.."I a princess, mommy you a princess and Daddy our prince.") is out of school this week but I took this picture a few weeks ago (sad how behind I am) before school. She takes her pj's off, puts on her Dora shirt, princess heels and her butterfly wings. All princess must haves.
It was fun convincing her she absolutely would commit social suicide if she went to school like that...

jabber.

I've fallen off the blogging map.
My child is really funny.
She left to go with mom today and said "Bye Jenn, Bye Dallas!!"
She's into real names.
Dallas said "Oh, Lord." today. Reese told him, "Daddy, you can't say Oh, Lord."
Thank goodness she's here to straighten us out.
As of last night we signed with Oakland. We're A's. Whatever an A is.
I know nothing about them. We are really excited though!
Hmmmm....Jenn Mac needs some diversity. A Snoop Dizzle family photo shoot?

Fa Shizzle...

Go to my work blog to see some pretties!

p.a.r.t.y.

I feel SO much guilt even taking the 4 seconds it takes to blog some poopy pics but I need too. I miss this! I miss everyone. I haven't even caught up. Get ready for some major blog stalking when I return to reality. I have been having a blast lately with my sessions though! Keep checking my work blog, I should be posting 4 more this week, if not more!
We had the best time at the party last night. Really. I am so not the party thrower nor am I the salesperson but with Matilda Jane it is so easy. They sell themselves. I can't wait to see everyone's stuff. It's so hard not to buy it all...wait, I think I did! We sold $3700! Whoo hoo!
Here's a couple poopy pics. I snapped them in 4 seconds. We had about 30 or more people come but I got a quick pic...
Dallas and Lee were the baby wranglers. We love that Lux!! I love her mama too!! Lux is the cutest thing. Dallas adores her. I was glad Lee came to make Dallas still feel like a man!!
Another crappy pic, but I have had no time with my baby girl lately. She's with Gigi all the time. They were in the playroom and mom text me (how sad is that???) to come see. Reese had made her a plate while she was in the laundry room. Is this not a well rounded meal and is it not pretty? We were impressed with the appeal of the plate. Hmmm...maybe top chef? There's a drink, dessert, fruit, drink. Even an ugly fake flower in the pot. She is an entertainer...

I picked her up today and her teachers told me she is the most talkative kid in class by far. Is that good???
She's really funny. She also has a duet in her Christmas play. She may not look like me but at least she got something from me...Have a great week!

still kickin...

I'm still here! I have proof too! This poor family blog gets the shaft while I'm busy placing holiday orders, editing and designing cards. It's so much fun, though!
Head over to my site to see some fun sessions...some of my favorites! They'll be many more this week!
One more thing, tomorrow night I'm hosting a Matilda Jane clothing party! Whew hoo! No more showing up a perfect strangers homes 70 miles from my own just to get my "must haves" for Reese. The clothes are adorable, I love them. I call it anthropologie for girls!
I know most of you can't make it all the way from blogging land but I am taking phone orders until the party's over tomorrow night at 7p.m. They'll ship directly to ya!
These clothes will last forever too! Reese still fits into everything I bought in Spring Training. Anyhoo, promise to blog soon. We've had fun stuff too, I've not been to bed before 3am the past few nights so me editing family shots just isn't happenin...
Hope everyone is well!!

catching up...

Just a few from last weekend. We celebrated Izzy's 3rd birthday at the farm. They are so cute (we listened to them talk as they walked hand in hand and heard Reese tell Izy she was her best friend. She followed that with "Hey, Where's your cake?") Here's the BFF's...
They sat next to each other to eat cake. So cute...
THen we hit up trunk or treating at the church. All the little kids loved "boots."
This is our sunday school teacher...
And our pastor and his wife...

Don't you wanna come to church with us? Never a dull moment...
Oh! Guess what??? It's a BOY! I'm going to have a nephew! We are so excited! Dallas, D & papa are glad to even out the stats. We need a little more testosterone in this bunch!
I found out, picked Reese up from school, sat down with her and told her "It's a boy!" Her response?
Immediately, her face got so upset. Pouty lip. "I not want a boy cousin, I want a girl cousin!" Real tears. So upset. We had to call Boo and tell her "Not want a boy cousin."
An hour later we were driving and she said, "Mama it's a boy. It's not a dirl. I gonna have a boy cousin."
Not sure what she'll be feeling next week, but for now, we are accepting our boy cousin. I'm sure he'll get stuck playing house, babies, kitchen, anyway so does it really matter???

weekends recap.

With little to no time to blog, these were the easiest ones to throw up here on the site. I didn't take enough pics at all at Jackson's birthday party Sunday but after a party earlier and trunk or treating, I was exhausted!
Here's my little stinker... (Who earlier today said (and I quote) "What am I going to do with you Jenn?" Yes, my two year old said that.
'
Boo & I went to the party together and we literally watched Reese for 2 hours bounce in this bounce house. She loved it! I'm thinking Santa...
'
The birthday boy. He drove around his house in circles all afternoon. Such a boy...

Thanks for inviting us Jill! We had a blast!

FIrst off...Are you seated?

Second: Ever wonder what Dallas will do when baseball is over???
We are so renting him out.

Listen.
Chit-Chit-Chit...
Did you hear that?
Who is it?
Chit-Chit-Chit...
(That is a horrible version of his tail twitching but are you picturing him???)
It's Swiper. Swiper the Fox (aka Daddy. aka Dallas. aka professional athlete)

"Hee, hee, Hee..."

Chit, chit, chit...

Where is he???

Boots looking for Swiper...half laughing/half terrified...

Swiper looking a little modelish...

Yes, he is 6'4 and a grown man. And yes, several neighbors drove by...

Look who he swiped!! How cute!

The inspiration behind boots the monkey...

Cutest boots ever!

My mom made these costumes! Is she not the best? She has been our little factory worker as of late (don't worry, we let her out of the basement every 72 hours and turn on the air every other day). She did such a good job! Reese decided (I promise she did this on her own) she wanted to be boots a few months ago. Here is actually what she wanted:
Her boots.
Daddy Swiper.
Mommy Dora (could you see me with a bowl cut, long butt duckhead shorts and a mid drift orange shirt? Uhm. No.
Gigi Benny the Bull.
Boo Isa.
D Diego.
Papa the Grumpy old Troll.
Donna Tico.

Her #1 fan Daddy is the only one who came through. How sweet is he? He just LOVES her so much. He had to do exactly what she wanted! Even if he embarrassed himself!
She loved being boots...

Our neighbors and their 3 kiddos hate Dora, so Dallas was sure to go over for a visit with his partner in crime...

Priceless...

This was the best Halloween! We had a party Friday night (after Dallas had lasik eye surgery), Gigi, Papa, Boo, D all were here for the weekend of pure Reese entertainment, Sunday we had trunk or treats at the church and 2 birthday parties. It is serious overload and I have tons to share! Thanks mom for your hard work! You're the best!
